What this site actually uses

This policy describes the cookies and browser storage this site really uses, verified against the site as built. We do not set advertising cookies, we run no third-party advertising trackers, and we build no advertising profiles.

The one functional cookie

mw_academy_session: a signed session cookie that keeps you signed in to the Academy. It is HttpOnly, Secure, and limited to this site (SameSite=Lax). It lasts up to 30 days, or until you sign out. It exists because the Academy cannot work without remembering that you signed in; there is no advertising or cross-site tracking in it.

Browser storage (not cookies)

Your Academy course progress is stored in your own browser's local storage, on your device, so you can pick up where you left off. It is not sent anywhere by being stored; it never leaves your browser except as part of the service you use.

What we do not use

No analytics cookies are set by this site, no social-media pixels, and no third-party marketing tags. If that ever changes, this page will be updated first and will say exactly what was added and why.

Your control

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the session cookie signs you out of the Academy and stops it working until you sign in again; the rest of the site works without it. Questions: [email protected].

Tell us what is slowing you down.

Describe it in your own words, in about two minutes. A manager reads every request and replies personally within one business day. Your description stays confidential.
